Submitted to Design !ndex by Chris Matthews, the Speedbeats were conceived during an early morning swim. The features include:
– A soft wrap around frame with tension locks over the ear to minimise fuss for the user.
– Intergrated tangle free cables and extendable earbuds
– LED lit charging light, buttons and logo highlights for low light conditions
– Large textured buttons inside the strap material, to add additional waterproofing the mp3 player, reduce connection clutter, reduce pool corrosion and stops the goggle interfering with pool caps or other swimming aids.

The construction is mainly silicone and latex based hydrophobic plastics, with a hard polycarbonate compound lenses to allow a variety of finishes and styles to be achieved.
